We are dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, who are struggling with substance use and/or mental health issues, by providing care and support through treatment and assistance of an individual’s desire for long-term recovery with the goal of a better quality of life for themselves, their families, and the community as a whole.

Our Founding Vision:

When Launch Pad Wellness was founded in 2016, our vision was to create an environment where individuals could find the assistance & solutions they need to successfully embrace recovery and launch forward onto a new path.

 

Creating Launch Pad Wellness was initially inspired from the need for a clinical continuum of care for Launch Pad Structured Living members.  This continuum of care includes the following services under one roof: Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient (SAIOP) Groups, Outpatient (OP) Groups, Individual Therapy & Medication Management, including Vivitrol Injections.  Prior to the formation of Launch Pad Wellness, an individual entering Launch Pad Structured Living, had to attend clinical groups at one location, individual counseling at another, and search for a separate medication management provider. This was especially hard as individuals were also trying to navigate life in early recovery. Launch Pad Wellness was founded for Launch Pad Structured Living members to receive treatment services and bridge the gap between housing and clinical care.  Today, Launch Pad Wellness has continued to be a place for not only Launch Pad Structured Living members, but also a treatment center open to all individuals in our community.

Our staff operates as an interdisciplinary team dedicated to creating an individualized plan for recovery for each person who enters our doors.  Clients benefit from the expertise of all of our clinical staff.  We hold weekly interdisciplinary staffing to ensure each client is being provided with the best possible care.  Utilizing best practice and evidence-based modalities, our goal is to provide a comfortable, safe, and professional environment for both patients and staff; to foster a high level of patient dignity relating to their primary needs and to provide successful treatment to help patients heal and recover.

What to Expect: 

Have questions about what the admission process for Launch Pad Wellness is?  Here is some basic information to assist you in understanding the intake and treatment process!

​

Initially, we collect demographic and insurance information.  It is important for us to verify insurance benefits prior to admission so we can be clear about your financial responsibility. 

This would also be a time we would discuss any deductibles, copays/coinsurance, or self-pay rates.  Once we have collected this information and decided on a financial plan, we will schedule an intake appointment with one of our master’s level clinicians. 

 

The intake appointment typically takes about an hour and a half and begins with signing releases of information, consents for treatment, and other paperwork related to our policies. 

 

Next, the client meets with the clinician to complete their bio-psycho-social assessment and then recommendations for the most appropriate level of care are discussed between the client and clinician.  Treatment can then begin once the assessment is completed. 

 

We view the client as a whole and work to ensure each client has support in all areas of their lives.  This can include referring clients for primary care, nutritional support, dental care, supportive housing, DWI services, or other specialty mental health care.

Paying for Treatment:

We are proud to be in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, NC State Health Plan (Clear Pricing Project Provider).  We are also in-network with Aetna, United Healthcare, Tricare, and NC Medicaid.  We bill out-of-network for all other insurances and also offer self-pay rates.

DWI Assessments and Counseling Services joined the Launch Pad Wellness continuum of care in 2020.  Many people seeking substance abuse treatment also have legal issues such as driving under the influence charges.  We are proud to offer in-house DWI Assessments and Counseling services.
